(Haciendo unas compritas, esta es mi bonita muñequita Olga.

Olguita es chiquitita, solo unos 6cm.                                                          Es una “frozen Charlotte”.                                                                           Para los que no lo saben, las frozen charlottes son una muñequitas antiguas (1850 a 1920) inspuradas en el personaje de un poema en el que la niña Charlotte, se nego a abrigarse antes de ir a pasear en su trineo, y murio congelada.!

Hola amigos, Estuve en Londres casi toda la semana pasada, todo muy lindo, Vi cosas hermosas, y fui en mi usual busqueda por el perfume perfecto..pero no lo encontre.

Hace un tiempo les mostre zapatos para niños de una señora francesa llamada Julie Pillet…y hoy, por el solo hecho de que me encantan..quiero mostrarle unos mas.

Nice heavy cutlery..In my office it is customary to have a Friday special English breakfast in the company restaurant…well.. what I can say!…there is always a small queue behind me scrutinising my movements when I try to choose the heaviest most vintage knife and fork in the basket!.. nice food must be enjoyed with the right tools!

Royal Wedding / La boda real

The much awaited Royal Wedding has taken place last Friday. We had a tear or two in our eyes and we sipped a little drink to the health and happiness of the newly weds.

It was a lovely occasion. The whole country celebrated in the streets and at home…unforgettable!

El viernes tuvo lugar la tan esperada Boda Real del principe William y su ahora esposa Kate.

Una que otra lagrima rodo por la emocion, y una o dos copas hicieron chin chin a la salud y felicidad de los recien casados.

Fue una ocasion muy bonita y especial, en todo el pais se hicieron fiestas en las casas y en las calles…inolvidable!

Waiting for the summer–Esperando el verano

We have had a couple of weeks of really lovely weather here in England. Blossoming trees everywhere..

They tell you summer is approaching and, even though it does not get very warm at all in this part of the world, a sunny breeze free day could be divine.

My photo does not really transmit how lovely it was to walk under this canopy of pink..

Lamentablemente mi foto no estan buena como para transmitir el placer de caminar debajo de este toldo de flores rosas..

It almost seemed a shame to stand on the petals!

Daba hasta pena pisar los petalos! (para las chicas de Argentina solamente! justo me acorde de una cancion de Palito Ortega en los años 70.. Por favor no pisen las flores.. yo tendria 6 o 7 años..estaba totamente omnubilada con este hombre y su musica!)..que recuerdos.. ni se de donde salieron!

Tuvimos un par de semanas de un clima muy lindo aqui en Inglaterra.

Los arboles frutales estan en flor, y son bellisimos..

Te avisan que el veranito se esta aproximando y aunque nunca tengamos verdadero calor en esta parte del mundo, un dia de sol sin brisa puede ser igualmente “disfrutable”.

A little while ago whilst travelling with my magic carpet on the net, I came across something that I think it is quite exiting!

Some people have as a hobby, this thing of getting into old derelict buildings, or places that are normally forbidden to the public and take photos…some wonderfull photos.

Some are scary..but the common denominator to all of them, is that they all want to tell you a story..
